THE OVERVIEW
Asleep: Act 1 is the opening episode of Ana Lúcia’s psychological-horror story, set in northeastern Brazil during the 1990s. Players explore a disturbed reality, collect clues in a sketchbook and solve puzzles rather than relying on direct combat. A flashlight helps reveal objects and routes, but monsters respond differently to light, making stealth and illumination part of each encounter. Remaining in darkness affects Ana’s sanity and increases the dangers around her. This profile covers Act 1, not the separate demo, Act 2 or the planned final act. Steam publishes Windows, macOS and Linux requirements, although several refer to old operating systems and do not establish compatibility with today’s Steam client. The Windows minimum lists 1 GB RAM and 1 GB available storage; these are published requirements, not performance benchmarks or an FPS guarantee.
