Castle of the Zephyr is a turn-based dungeon crawler described by its developer as a spiritual remake of Castle of the Winds. Its Norse-inspired world mixes authored areas with procedural dungeon floors, and time spent strengthening the hero also lets the final enemy grow stronger. Classless attributes support different builds, while spellbooks and manuals supply abilities rather than automatic level-up spells. Inventory decisions account for both weight and volume, making bags, belts and storage part of expedition planning. Mouse and controller options, searchable inventory and saving anywhere accompany optional permadeath. The published Windows profiles describe supported hardware without establishing any independently tested frame-rate target.
