About Into the Breach

Into the Breach turns each battle into a problem of positioning: enemy attacks are shown before they land, leaving you to choose how your mechs can protect the city. Civilian buildings supply power, so firing through them can undermine the people you are trying to defend. Weapons and pilots change the available responses, while a failed attempt can send help back through time for another randomly generated challenge. The included Advanced Edition update adds squads, weapons, enemies, mission objectives and an additional difficulty. For readers checking an older PC, the published minimum is 1 GB RAM and 400 MB storage, with Intel HD 3000 or better graphics supporting OpenGL 2.1; that is a requirements statement rather than a frame-rate promise. Steam still lists legacy Windows versions in the game specifications, but separately says its client requires Windows 10 or later.
