Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition is a Windows action platformer set in the threatened forest of Nibel. The Definitive Edition adds environments exploring Naru's past, the Dash and Light Burst abilities, difficulty modes and teleportation between Spirit Wells. Those additions matter when comparing it with the original release, rather than treating the two editions as interchangeable. Exploration and backtracking complement a story presented through hand-painted artwork and animated characters. Steam lists the Definitive Edition separately from Ori and the Will of the Wisps and multi-game collections, and says qualifying purchasers also receive the original game if they do not already own it.
