About Shroom and Gloom

Shroom and Gloom uses two card decks to separate surviving a fight from finding a way through its fungal dungeons. Combat cards attack enemies, while exploration cards open routes, alter cards and unlock additional abilities. Its hand-drawn characters sit inside three-dimensional first-person spaces, and defeating or cooking enemies can restore health. The game entered Early Access on September 10, 2026; planned additions are development intentions rather than delivered content. Windows and macOS have distinct minimum and recommended profiles, including 13 GB storage, so one platform’s hardware should not be substituted for the other. The Windows recommended GPU text contains the unusual label RTX 1080, which is retained with a source caveat rather than corrected by guesswork. A separate demo is available, but the full game is paid.
