Otter.ai

What is Otter.ai?

Otter.ai turns recorded conversations into transcripts and meeting notes that can be searched after the call. Its meeting notetaker works with Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet, and users can also capture audio through the web interface or supported apps. Automated summaries and action items provide a starting point for reviewing decisions and follow-up work, while AI Chat lets users ask questions about their meetings. Teams can share conversations and use search to find relevant passages instead of replaying an entire recording. Basic provides a continuing free allowance, while paid subscriptions raise recording, import and collaboration limits. Review speaker names and important commitments against the recording, obtain the necessary recording permissions, and check plan limits before relying on Otter for long meetings.

Otter.ai combines meeting transcripts, automated summaries, action items and conversational search for people who need to revisit recorded discussions.
