Praex

What is Praex?

Praex is a coding companion for asking questions about a project and working through implementation tasks. Its terminal workflow can operate in a repository, while web chat provides another entry point for a conversation and remote controls can help a user follow an existing session away from the computer. The product offers its own served models and also describes bringing external keys or hardware, so the chosen model and setup affect where work is processed. A useful brief might ask it to investigate a failing task, explain the relevant files and propose a change that the developer can inspect. The homepage’s demonstration of edits and passing tests is a vendor example rather than an independently reproduced result. Review commands, file changes and test coverage before accepting an implementation, and confirm model access and account limits for the workflow you intend to use.

A coding companion with terminal and web access, its own hosted model options and support for bringing a model provider into the workflow.
