Runway

What is Runway?

Runway is a creative platform for generating and editing video, images and audio. A video project can begin with a text prompt, a still image or existing footage, then move through generation, targeted changes and export. Filmmakers and design teams can use that workflow to explore a shot, animate a concept image or revise the lighting and background of a clip. Reference images help communicate the intended subject and visual direction instead of relying entirely on a written description. Longer sequences can combine generated clips, but continuity and the result of each edit still need inspection. The output is rendered media; generating an animated scene does not create an editable character rig or scene model. Review motion, consistency and how the clip fits the surrounding production before using it.

Develop shots from prompts, images or footage, refine generated video and inspect continuity before export.
