THE OVERVIEW
Lightyear Frontier combines open-world farming with a customizable mech that performs work at a larger scale than handheld tools. You plant crops, move resources, craft equipment and build a homestead while maintaining the machine with fuel and repairs. Up to three friends can join the farm, and the Shared Saves system supports continuing when the original host is away. Its low-pressure design removes enemy raids and hunger while leaving room to adjust the experience through settings. Steam identifies this as the November 2026 release following Early Access; the listed graphics-setting and frame-rate targets are developer guidance, not independent performance tests.
